You Can Now Explore Mars Using an Interactive Map
The map was unveiled at the Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) 2022 in Granada, Spain. It was created using orbital images as well as three-dimensional panoramic views of the Jezero crater.
Now, all you need to explore Mars' Jezero Crater with NASA's Perseverance Rover is a web browser – investigators from the Free University of Berlin have created an interactive map that allows everyone to take a walk around Mars. You can even connect a virtual reality kit to your device to get an even deeper sense of immersion.

To see panoramas, simply click on one of the waypoint markers to enter 3D mode. Virtual views of Mars allow you to see the planet where the Perseverance rover travels. You can even hear its recorded sounds to achieve the maximum effect of presence.
