UAE Opens Doors to Future Leaders Through Dubai Future Experts Program
In a revolutionary stride towards empowering future-ready leaders, the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has announced the opening of applications for the Dubai Future Experts Program (DEEP). This initiative, launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stands as the first government-led program designed to cultivate a certified network of foresight experts across Dubai’s governmental sectors.
Envisioning the Future
The program, a collaboration with The Executive Council of Dubai, seeks to equip Emirati professionals with the skills necessary to forecast and influence Dubai’s future landscape. Abdulaziz Al Jaziri, DFF’s Deputy CEO, emphasized, “The Dubai Future Experts Program equips a select group of Emirati leaders with specialized foresight expertise, enabling them to anticipate change, develop proactive strategies, and shape the future of Dubai’s government.” This marks a transformative shift in governance, ensuring Dubai stays ahead in global policymaking.
Structured Learning for Impact
DEEP is meticulously structured to offer a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Participants will begin their journey with the ‘Certified Foresight Practitioner’ level, running from May to June 2025, focusing on foresight methodologies and future scenario development. This intensive training aims to immerse participants in real-world applications of strategic foresight.
Project-Based Mastery
Progressing to the ‘Certified Foresight Ambassador’ level between September and October 2025, participants embark on a project-based learning path. Here, they will address critical future challenges facing Dubai, crafting strategic foresight projects that culminate in actionable recommendations. This level embeds participants in a fabric of global experts and exclusive training events, preparing them to implement visionary solutions within their sectors.
Leading the Way in Global Foresight
Dubai’s ambition to lead in future-ready policymaking is showcased through DEEP. Participants will gain a certified qualification recognized by DFF and The Executive Council of Dubai, joining a global network of foresight leaders. As stated in Government of Dubai Media Office, registrations are open until April 17, 2025, encouraging eligible Emiratis to apply or be nominated by their government entities.
