Scientists Plan to Create a New Message for Intelligent Aliens
A NASA-led international team of scientists has decided to send another message for extraterrestrials into space. They want to deliver it to the center of the Milky Way from the SETI Institute’s Allen Telescope Array in California or the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) in China.
The interstellar message is planned to be called Beacon in the Galaxy. The message will include information on the Earth's principles of communication, the basic mathematical and physical concepts, the structure of DNA, as well as people, and the Earth as a whole. Intelligent aliens will be able to contact us if they wish – scientists will leave a return address.
