In a landmark announcement at the Dubai Airshow 2025, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), and ASPIRE have revealed their collaboration to revolutionize lunar navigation technology. This joint effort aims to create a radiation-tolerant computer and AI-driven software that will allow lunar rovers to perceive and navigate their environment independently. “MBRSC’s collaboration with TII and ASPIRE is a significant step forward in our commitment to building technologies that elevate the scientific value and safety of future missions,” emphasized Dr. Hamad AlMarzooqi, Project Manager of the Emirates Lunar Mission.
