Colombia concluded its participation at the IMEX Las Vegas 2025, reaffirming its standing as one of Latin America’s prime destinations for the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) industry. This global platform hosted Colombia’s vibrant delegation, which shined among participants from over 150 countries.

Taking place between October 7 and 9, IMEX Las Vegas 2025 saw Colombia present a formidable front with over 20 top-tier companies and organizations. President of ProColombia, Carmen Caballero, lauded this success as a testament to Colombia’s burgeoning infrastructure for hosting global gatherings. According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Colombia’s international events grew from 103 to 114 from 2023 to 2024, enhancing its appeal as a conference hub. Major cities like Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena, and Barranquilla continue to expand their offerings with modern facilities and strong air connectivity.
The collaboration between public and private sectors is pivotal, with ProColombia and local tourism offices spearheading efforts to attract and host international conventions in diverse sectors such as technology and healthcare.

Brands such as Hilton Cartagena and Four Seasons highlighted their luxurious accommodations and diverse meeting facilities.
