Starlink Satellite Internet Is Now Available in 32 Countries
Elon Musk's Starlink satellite Internet is now available in 32 countries around the world, the company announced on Twitter. Starlink has published an interactive map with various regions marked with different shades of blue on its website.
The bright blue marks the countries whose residents will receive the Starlink kit immediately after ordering. Darker shades mark the countries the residents of which will have to wait to receive their Internet kits.
According to SpaceX, the Internet from Starlink is now available across most of Europe and North America, as well as parts of South America, New Zealand, and Australia.
Much of the rest of the world, including the entire continent of Africa and parts of Asia, is shown as “Coming Soon” with availability mostly starting at various points in 2023.
SpaceX continues to regularly send Starlink satellites into orbit, delivering dozens of satellites at a time. The constellation currently includes more than 2,000 satellites, but that's just a small part of what the company yet plans to deploy.
