Shashank Jha Takes Helm of Boeing India's Digital Strategy

In a significant corporate move, aerospace giant Boeing has appointed Shashank Jha as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Digital Technology for its operations in India. With the headquarters in bustling Bengaluru, Jha prepares to lead Boeing’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) team, comprising nearly 1,500 members. His role extends to bolstering collaboration, nurturing talent, and fortifying the company’s digital infrastructure.

Driven by Expertise

“Every day is a fresh chance to drive innovation,” Jha shared on assuming his new role. With an impressive career spanning over two decades in engineering and IT leadership, he stands poised to influence Boeing’s strategies in India and beyond. Before joining Boeing, Jha was a key figure at Dover India, where he managed IT operations within India and China.

Vision for Future-Ready Capabilities

“India plays a pivotal role as part of Boeing’s global digital and engineering ecosystem,” emphasized Jha. His vision is clear—to transform Boeing’s technological endeavors by fostering innovation and building capabilities that align with the company’s long-term growth plans. This includes a vital focus on product lifecycle management (PLM) products, instrumental in Boeing’s engineering operations.

Fuelling Boeing’s ambitions, Jha will collaborate with global engineering and product support teams.
