SEE To Launch a Space-Based Film Studio by 2024
Orbital station manufacturer Axiom Space will handle the construction. SEE-1 will then be fitted to the Axiom Station, a commercial space station being built by Axiom Space that would attach to the current ISS before orbiting on its own.
Space Entertainment Enterprise (SEE), the company engaged in the production of a movie with Tom Cruise, which is planned to be partly shot in space, revealed plans to launch a space module that hosts a film studio and sports arena. This module could be connected to the ISS by December 2024.
The new sports and entertainment arena is formally known as SEE-1. The company will shoot its own projects on SEE-1. Also, artists, producers, and creatives who want to create content in zero gravity will be able to visit the module for these purposes and stream their content live.
