A Giant Leap for Columbus: Nation's First Space Science Park Launched!

Blazing a Trail in Space Innovation

The space economy is taking a revolutionary leap forward in Columbus! Voyager Technologies has officially launched the Voyager Institute for Space, Technology, and Advancement (VISTA) at The Ohio State University, making history as the nation’s first dedicated space science park.

A Hub of Innovation and Collaboration

Spanning up to 80 acres, the VISTA campus will transform Ohio State’s landscape, uniting the leading minds in space tech, AI, biopharma, Ag-tech, and robotics. From dynamic startups to industry giants, over a dozen tenants have already signed up, with more expected soon.

Boosting the Space Economy

“This is a powerful engine to take the space economy to the next level,” proclaimed Jeffrey Manber, President of International and Space Stations at Voyager. VISTA is poised to foster industry, academic, and governmental collaborations, becoming a catalyst for in-space research and manufacturing.

Engineering the Future from Columbus

Columbus-based Elford Inc. is at the helm of the pre-construction phase, while Colliers International drives global tenant recruitment. The park will feature state-of-the-art labs, office spaces, and public meeting areas, strategically anchored by OSU’s academic excellence.

Honoring Legacy and Innovation

Once known as the George Washington Carver Science Park, this legacy continues through the G.W. Carver AgTech initiative, driving pioneering in-space crop development and sustainable agriculture research.

Ohio’s Ascending Aerospace Industry

With the VISTA park, Ohio’s aerospace landscape is soaring, aligning with NASA Glenn, Wright-Patterson AFB, and recent industry additions like Airbus and Anduril Industries. As stated in Columbus Navigator, Ohio isn’t just on the space economy map; it’s defining it.

Join Columbus in this exciting journey towards a future filled with limitless possibilities in space exploration and technology.
